The End of the First Two Years

Well I am nearly at the end of my first two year contract. Only 3.5 more teaching days and I am done! It's been quite the two years... it seems like a long time ago I was the girl with my whole life packed into two big suitcases and a carry-on, trying not to burst into tears at the airport while saying goodbye to my parents. Then boarding my first plane ever and taking off into the unknown.... thinking that perhaps a two week mission trip would have been a more logical first overseas experience, not a two year contract!

Things have changed. I have changed. Life moves on. I have made some fantastic friends, I have a great apartment, I love my job, I teach amazing students and I have some great holiday time! I have learned a lot and grown a lot and been stretched in ways I didn't think possible... and most importantly, I have no regrets.

So God has been good to me! For that, I am very thankful.

This Saturday I'll be flying to Malaysia for 10 days or so and then back here for a day and then at long last.. home to Canada! You can look for me starting late June 29th and stop looking on July 22nd!

See you soon!

We are hoping to steal some time with you on July 1st. I cannot wait to see your smiling face and to introduce my cutie kiddos to you. They will love you completely!
