We took a day trip up the mountain. It was originally a massive volcano that split into three separate volcanoes. Only one is now active. It was a cloudy day and the air was filled with the not-so-pleasant aroma of sulfur however it was really cool to see!
Oh and Mel has fractured her foot. We spent some time in a medical facility in Bandung.. a tad archaic really. She did well hobbling around all weekend! Although we'll have to go back again when she is able to move a little more quickly!
