I really like this picture because it seems so peaceful. The complete opposite to how I was feeling at the time. However, this was before the skies all clouded over. The second day in Singapore it just rained and rained. We were going to go on a boat ride but alas! we were rained out. Instead we had asked the cab driver to take us to the Chinese Museum but he didn't like the fact that we had too many people in the cab so he dropped us of at A museum which was the most boring place in the world.
Singapore is a beautiful place and from what I saw, its extremely wealthy. They have a lot of rules, like no chewing gum or jay-walking and you are not allowed to drive a car more than 10 years old. The cost of living is quite high and I saw an apartment building that has apartments that go for 8 million US. This garden was a beautiful, simple place and it was FREE!!!
